Hello. Today’s topic is regarding requests outside of English lyric writing.
I occasionally receive inquiries such as “Can I request lyrics in Japanese?” or “Do you offer composition services?”
I am truly grateful that you would consider reaching out to me for such requests.
First, regarding Japanese lyric writing: As my current services focus on lyric writing, I am able to accept requests for Japanese lyrics as well. However, due to scheduling and time constraints, please note that the pricing will generally be similar to that for English lyrics. Additionally, I do not participate in lyric competitions, so I kindly ask for your understanding in that regard.
For certain genres such as rock and metal, my personal interests align closely, which allows me to offer more emotionally resonant and genre-appropriate expressions. Regardless of language—Japanese or English—, I strive to capture the client’s vision with care, while paying attention to the beauty and sound of the words.
Next, regarding composition: While my primary focus remains on lyric writing, I may be able to offer partial or supplemental composition support within the bounds of transferable copyright. For example, if you already have backing tracks but need help creating a vocal melody, I can assist with this in conjunction with your lyric request.
In the future, should I formally launch a composition service, pricing will be determined based on factors such as project scope, number of tracks, and whether copyright is to be transferred. However, at present, I do not offer full composition or arrangement services as a primary offering.
If you have any other concerns or questions related to music production, please don’t hesitate to keep in touch with me. I would also be grateful for any feedback or suggestions, as it helps me continue improving the services I provide.
